and 1gb of ram suddenly every time I shut it down it kind of goes in sleep mode from booting since the power button turns orange as well as the monitor's and won't boot,dont see anything on screen as if it is hibernating. I have tried pulling out the system battery to reset bios settings, disconnecting hard drive and booting off ... What do you think? does it have anything to do with it? I will appreciate any input in this matter from the masters !!! Thank you, Alex.

I install Ubuntu Server 10.10 on my Laptop. This laptop already has OS Vista. By your information, I installed ubuntu server successfully. THANKS. Then i tried to install Ubuntu Desktop 10.10. <sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop> But it unable !! I want to get back to my Vista interface OR any interface GUI (Ubuntu Desktop) Warm Regards, Ravi
